Proofs - Overview

The Genetic Edition of the text is comprised of four distinct layers containing seven versions.

The third layer of the Genetic Edition of 'Time Passes' consists of the proofs, supplied by the printers to the Hogarth Press, R. & R. Clarke of Edinburgh.

These proofs have been reproduced here with the corrections Virginia Woolf added for her US publisher Harcourt Brace.

We currently provide one default project transcription, compiled and encoded by Nick Hayward. This transcription is available in a page and full view.

We also provide each page's image, both in gallery and zoom versions. Each single page image is available in the related content and quick view tab in the right sidebar for each page's transcription. It is also possible to view each page's original size image, either from the foot of the relevant transcription page or from the image's page within its respective image gallery.

To view a 'Printer Friendly' version of the 'Proofs' simply select the option at the foot of each transcription page.
